Aluminum Markets Split

Oct 13, 2017 – Primary and secondary aluminum markets continue to move in opposite directions with primary prices up 20% this year and aluminum scrap prices staying soft.

Ferrous Scrap Prices Drop

Oct 6, 2017 – Ferrous prices for scrap metal recycling material dropped $30-40/GT in domestic trading this week. Prime plunged $40/GT, obsolete dropped $30/GT from September.

Stainless Scrap Prices Advance

Aug 8, 2017 – Stainless scrap prices are mostly up now following nickel contracts on the London Metal Exchange (LME), which advanced nearly 3% the past 10 days.
